Posted on

Friday, July 16, 2021 Ontario is moving to Stage 3 re-opening which brings some changes to Pickering Playing Fields.

Below is a list of all changes coming to each activity:

Mini Putt: We will be operating under the same guidelines of “First come, First serve”. No reservation is required. We will issue a sanitized putter and ball for your use. We do recommend bringing your own equipment.

Driving Range: No reservation will be required. “First come, First serve”. Please bring your own clubs to limit contact. We will issue a sanitized club for $3.00. Driving Range is closed 1 hour prior to the rest of the facility so staff can pick up all the balls for the following day.

Batting Cages: We will now operate the Batting Cages as if it was pre-covid. No online booking is required and you can purchase tokens at our facility to operate the cages. Please bring your own bat and helmet to your use. We will issue sanitized batting equipment if needed.

Birthday Parties and Corporate Events: Yes, we will be starting group events of this nature. For more information please email us your full details and we will provide you with all information.

2025 Season OpeningDriving Range Not Available

Exciting Things Are Coming… Just Not This Yet!

We’ve got a little hiccup to share—our Driving Range will NOT be operating Until Thursday, April 24th. Mother Nature had other plans, and when thunder and lightning roll in just as the hydro crew shows up on their day off… well, you know it’s out of our hands!

This comes after a weather delay a few weeks back with the projected ice storm, but our amazing crew is planning to return Wednesday to finish the job.

And good news—Batting Cages will be ready by the weekend!
